Bear Mountain Picnic was formed in the spring of 2004 by Lucas Hollow, Reagan Sova, and Joel Schrauben. Approximately ten different drummers have played with BMP, but Kevin Lang became the most constant in 2006 - 2007. BMP toured the Midwest United States several times and opened for of Montreal. The group disbanded in 2007, playing their last show on September 15th in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
